Inpatient Rehabilitation Services
Outcome Measures
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Services units continuously measure the quality of the care and services that we provide to our patients and their families. The way we do this is by measuring how fast, effectively, and efficiently our patients recover their normal physical and mental function and by surveying our patients and their families to find out how they feel about the care and services we provide to them.
The data we collect includes several demographic measures; including the age and gender of our population, where our patients are “admitted from” and “discharged to”, and the types of medical conditions and rehabilitation diagnoses that we treat. The outcomes indicators that we measure include the length of time that patients with particular medical conditions and rehabilitation diagnosis stay with us.
We measure our patient and family satisfaction by using the Press Ganey Patient Satisfaction Survey sent to selected patients after they go home. See the results below.
