Diabetes Center
The CHRISTUS Spohn Diabetes Center offers group classes on diabetes self management training, insulin therapy, gestational diabetes management and Medical Nutrition therapy. The program is for people with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. There is also a 2 hour review course available for those who have previously attended the initial training classes.
Instructions provide practical information on how eating healthy, exercise and medicine work together to provide a healthy lifestyle for people with diabetes.

- Mall Walking Program, M-F at 100pm
Cost for classes is covered in part or completely by most insurance plans. We will help you make arrangements for a payment plan if needed. Some scholarships are also available.
The CHRISTUS Spohn Diabetes Center is conveniently located on the second floor at Sunrise Mall in Corpus Christi. A physician's referral is required for classes. For more information please call the diabetes center at 361-881-3255.
