Scott Merryman Chief Financial Officer for CHRISTUS Spohn Health System, has been affiliated with CHRISTUS Health for more than 15 years. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for CHRISTUS Health Central Louisiana at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana, a position he has held since 2004.
Prior to that time, Merryman served for 10 years at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas, as Information Systems Manager, Business Services Director, and Controller. His background includes extensive work in Revenue Cycle Management, Reporting, and Financial Operations. Operationally, he has directed Accounting, Patient Access, Billing, Health Information Management, Plant Operations, and Information Management.
Scott Merryman earned his undergraduate degree in Business from The University of Southwestern Louisiana at Lafayette and his Masters in Business from Texas A&M University at Texarkana.
